Secrets of the Deep

The deeper you go, the stranger it gets. Occasionally the stranger creatures make their way a little further up for us to enjoy in awe. This is known colloquially as the Mediterranean Fried Egg Jelly Fish. Having known about it previously that a few of these live around Ibiza and Formentera, I knew I had to do everything to get one in front of my lens. It was a fateful afternoon outing with the boat when I saw something float by a little deeper below the surface. 2 seconds go by and I finally process what I likely just saw. I slammed the boat into neutral, threw the anchor, readied my camera and dove into the crystal waters of Formentera on my quest to finally capture this amazing creature.
