About Me

Despite having been to over 60 countries and counting, Eric van Wickern’s (or EV Dubs) work as a travel photographer has not solely been defined by its breadth. 

Rather, his lens seeks to capture the beauty in truth.

With his passion starting at the age of 16, Eric hasn’t stopped photographing; nor experimenting since. His passion-turned-mission has led his work to be featured by several Nikon subsidiaries, as well as Samyang.

Born and raised in Germany, Eric now resides between London and Ibiza,with Ibiza being the subject of much of his recent work - Marc’s restaurant now holds his first official Ibiza-only series.

For Eric, photography is a perspective and second nature: no matter where, there is a view to remember, there is another way to see - there is always a truth to capture.
